Acceptance

By booking or picking up a vehicle from Madden Capital LLC, doing business as Value Drive Rentals (“Value Drive,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. Where a rental is booked through a third-party marketplace such as Turo, that platform's own terms apply alongside these.

The rental agreement

These public terms summarise how we operate. The binding contract for any rental is our Master Vehicle Rental / Lease Agreement, which you sign before taking possession of a vehicle, together with your confirmed Reservation Record. Where the two differ, the signed agreement controls.

Booking & eligibility

Renters must be at least 21, hold a valid driver's licence, and meet the insurance and financial-responsibility requirements for the vehicle booked. Only approved drivers named on the agreement may operate the vehicle. Bookings can be made directly with us — online, by phone, or in person — or through a marketplace listing.

Vehicle use

Rented vehicles must be operated legally and responsibly and returned by the agreed date and time, in the condition they were rented in, ordinary wear excepted. The renter is responsible for tickets, tolls and violations incurred during the rental period. Rideshare and delivery platform use is prohibited unless we have authorised it in writing in advance.

Payments & deposits

Rental fees, taxes and any applicable security deposit are due at booking or pickup. Deposits are refunded after the vehicle is returned, less any charges for damage, missing fuel, tolls or violations. Optional damage waiver or protection products, where offered, are not insurance and are described separately at booking.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms follow the policy shown at booking, or the cancellation policy of the marketplace the booking was made through.

Text message program

Renters may choose to receive text messages from us about their rental. Consent is collected in writing, through separate checkboxes in Sections 12.5 and 12.6 of the Master Vehicle Rental / Lease Agreement — 12.5 for messages about your rental, 12.6 separately for occasional offers — and neither is a condition of renting or leasing a vehicle.

Messages under this program cover reservation and booking confirmations, vehicle pickup and return, payment and billing, safety and maintenance alerts, toll or violation notices, and occasional offers about vehicles newly available to rent. We send offer messages only to people who have rented from us and who consented on their rental agreement.

GPS & telematics

Some vehicles carry GPS or telematics equipment. Where they do, you receive clear notice in your rental agreement, and the data is used for location and recovery, maintenance and safety, mileage and geographic limits, and accident or theft response. We do not intentionally record private in-vehicle conversations. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

Liability

Vehicles are rented “as is.” Value Drive Rentals is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from vehicle use, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Nothing in these terms creates any purchase right or equity in a vehicle unless a separate written agreement says so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms as our business changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
